South African Beaches

The Beaches in South African Beaches are considered to be amongst the best beaches in the world. No wonder that with a shoreline of 2798 km this country has numerous fantastic beaches. The South African Beaches are so much more than laying on the ground all day or swimming, instead there are numerous activities you can do: surfing, kite surfing, diving and hiking along the coastline.
Port St John's, Wild Coast is a fantastic piece of coastal coastline. The South African Beaches is relatively underdeveloped though it is great place for sunbathing or swimming in the coastal waters of the lagoon.
Port Elizabeth has several beaches offering safe swimming and surfing. The Kings Beach is the most popular beach there also great is the Humewood Beach.

The Gonubie Beach offer plenty of relaxation and sporting opportunities, including surfing, boating, fishing and whale and dolphin watching, or for the more adventurous take a trip in a microlight to enjoy the spectacular view from above. It is also a surfer's paradise, offering some of the best waves in the country. There are great waves wherever you go, with warm waters all year around, so that you need little more than a spring wetsuit for warmth, and on hot summer days even this is not a necessity.
